Walter Y Elisha Park is a popular spot in Fort Mill, South Carolina. The park is spread over 12 acres and offers a variety of recreational activities for visitors of all ages.
One of the main attractions of Walter Y Elisha Park is its .6 mile walking trail. The trail winds around the park and scenic areas offering visitors a chance to connect with nature while getting some exercise. You’ll also find that the trail is lined with fitness equipment in case you want to step up that workout. It’s also lined with trees, providing a nice shaded path. We’re loving that on hot, sunny days!
In addition to the trail, Walter Elisha Park also features a playground and greenspace perfect for picnics. Visiting families can enjoy a picturesque picnic complete with fun playground time. There are also picnic tables located beside the playground.
The Playgrounds at Walter Elisha Park
Walter Elisha Park offers two fun playgrounds for children of all ages. The larger playground includes swings, slides, and unique climbing structures. The smaller playground is designed for younger children and features age-appropriate equipment.
Both playgrounds offer some shade thanks to umbrella-like shade canopies on both the playgrounds and nearby seating areas.
The playgrounds are located side by side, allowing parents to keep an eye on all their kids even if they are playing on different equipment. And, we totally love the solid surface ground covering at these playgrounds!
