RCNP: Bewitching Botanicals – DIY Plant Pressing

This October, celebrate autumn with leaf pressing! Build your own plant press before going out on a short autumn hike to collect leaves to start your own herbarium. You can start a collection to catalogue your scientific discoveries or use your dried plants for future creative projects! Then have a chance to visit the preserved plant collection at the Dr. James F. Matthews Center for Biodiversity Studies (located within the Reedy Creek Nature Center). For ages 12 and up. Adult participation and registration required if under 18. Must be able to walk up to 1 mile on uneven terrain.
