Musical Theatre Workshop: SHREK
Donkeys, dragons, and divas welcome… this workshop is for everyone! Our SHINE Musical Theatre program is hosting a free 90-minute musical theatre workshop on July 19th from 2:00-3:30 PM at Charlotte Academy of the Arts (15040 Idlewild Rd. Matthews, NC 28104). Students will explore character physicality, vocal expression, and comedic timing. Then we’ll bring it all together by learning choreography to Freak Flag, the show’s big ensemble anthem!
Perfect for performers ages 10–18 preparing to audition for Shrek Jr., our Fall 2026 production, or any kids and teens in the Charlotte, NC area looking to grow their musical theatre skills. No prior experience necessary.
