The Halloweekend festivities will begin on Friday, October 23, with trick-or-treating down Main Street for the annual Halloween March. Line up begins at 5:00 p.m. in front of the Davidson Public Safety Building, in the horseshoe parking lot, at 216 S. Main Street. Join Davidson Parks and Recreation on the Town Green where you can carve a pumpkin!

Before or after trick-or-treating down Main Street in the Halloween March, join us between 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. for a pumpkin craving party on the Town Green!  Bring your own pumpkin or purchase one from the DUMC Pumpkin Patch on Main Street, the first 25 carvers will receive a FREE pumpkin! We will have tools and simple patterns available, but feel free to provide your own. All pumpkins carved and left for people to enjoy on our Jack-o-Lantern Walk through the weekend or taken home for you and your own neighbors to enjoy.

This year, the Jack-O-Lantern Walk will be located at the Town Green. Carve your pumpkin at the beginning or end of the Halloween March. You can leave your pumpkin through the weekend and picked up at the end. This allows the community to see the creativeness within our community. Jack-o-lanterns will be on display Friday, October 23 through Friday, October 30. Community members who are not participating in the pumpkin carving event will can bring their entries to the Town Green between 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23 to ensure they are included in the 2026 Jack-O-Lantern Walk.
