DESCRIPTION:Halloweekend\nThe Halloweekend festivities will begin on Friday
 \, October 23\, with trick-or-treating down Main Street for the annual Hal
 loween March. Line up begins at 5:00 p.m. in front of the Davidson Public 
 Safety Building\, in the horseshoe parking lot\, at 216 S. Main Street. Jo
 in Davidson Parks and Recreation on the Town Green where you can carve a p
 umpkin!\n\nBefore or after trick-or-treating down Main Street in the Hallo
 ween March\, join us between 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. for a pumpkin craving party 
 on the Town Green!  Bring your own pumpkin or purchase one from the DUMC 
 Pumpkin Patch on Main Street\, the first 25 carvers will receive a FREE pu
 mpkin! We will have tools and simple patterns available\, but feel free to
  provide your own. All pumpkins carved and left for people to enjoy on our
  Jack-o-Lantern Walk through the weekend or taken home for you and your ow
 n neighbors to enjoy.\n\nThis year\, the Jack-O-Lantern Walk will be locat
 ed at the Town Green. Carve your pumpkin at the beginning or end of the Ha
 lloween March. You can leave your pumpkin through the weekend and picked u
 p at the end. This allows the community to see the creativeness within our
  community. Jack-o-lanterns will be on display Friday\, October 23 through
  Friday\, October 30. Community members who are not participating in the p
 umpkin carving event will can bring their entries to the Town Green betwee
 n 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday\, October 23 to ensure they are included in t
 he 2026 Jack-O-Lantern Walk.
