Town of Matthews Independence Day Celebration

No Pets or Outside Alcohol Allowed at Special Events per Town Ordinance. Service dogs are always welcome.

Kick off your Independence Day celebrations on Friday July 3, at Stumptown Park. The park opens at 5:30pm.The event is free.
Enjoy scheduled food trucks (always subject to change): hamburgers, pizza, ice cream, Dirty Sodas!
Inflatables, Uncle Sam stiltwalker for photos, Curley’s balloon twists, glitter tattoos!

Live music from The Hitmen begins at 6:30pm

Then make your way to the Matthews Sportsplex (or another viewing area of your choice) for a spectacular fireworks show at 9:30 pm.
