Crooked Creek Park (Indian Trail / Union County)
This park in Indian Trail features a splash pad, playground, picnic tables, and more. There are restrooms and parking on-site.

Cost: Splash pad is free, but groups of 15+ need to make a reservation.

Village Park (Kannapolis / Cabarrus County)

Hours of Operation: Starting Saturday April 4, the Carousel and Train will operate on weekends only. Weekend hours will be Saturday (10 a.m. – 7 p.m.) and Sundays (noon – 6 p.m.). Weekend hours continue through Memorial Day.
Starting Memorial Day weekend, Saturday, May 23, 2026 the Village Park Carousel, Train and Splash Pad will be open daily. Hours: Monday – Saturday (10 a.m. – 7 p.m.) and Sundays (noon – 6 p.m.). Daily hours continue through August 15.
Starting Saturday, August 15, 2026 the Village Park Carousel, Train and Splash Pad will return to its weekend-only schedule. Weekend hours will be Saturday (10 a.m. – 7 p.m.) and Sunday (noon – 6 p.m.). Weekend hours will continue through September 6.
Boomer’s Splash Pad at Atrium Health Ballpark (Kannapolis / Cabarrus County)
Starting April 3, the self-operated splash pad and children’s playground at the Atrium Health Ballpark will be open 7 days a week. It is free except during Cannon Ballers games when a ticket is required for admission. Boomer’s Splash Pad will be open Memorial Day through September 30, 2026.
This park includes a large splash pad, park, walking path, and more.
Cost: This splash pad is free but only open to the public on non-game days.
