Theatre Summer Camps: Charlotte, NC

A variety of summer camp for rising 1st grade through 8th grade. Topics that may be explored include STEM, space, theatre, and more. Niner Academy is for high school students and explores a variety of accelerated programs.

Cool School Camp (Rising 1st – 4th grade): Monday – Friday, June 10 – August 9, 2024
9 am – 4 pm with extended hours available.

49er Minors (Rising 5th – 8th grade): Monday – Friday, June 10 – August 9, 2024
9 am – 4 pm with extended hours available.

Niner Academy (High School Students) Monday – Friday, June 10 – August 9, 2024
9 am – 4 pm with extended hours available.

Acting Out Studio is an award-winning acting studio that offers birthday parties, acting classes, summer camps, and more. They have four locations in Charlotte. If you love singing, acting, and all things musical theatre, you can book a party with them. Parties cost $350, are two-hours long, and include 10 kids (all ages). Each additional child is $10 per child.

The Lotus Project Summer Intensive has theater camp options for K through 9th grade, plus a special teen summer intensive for kids 7th grade through college sophomores. Camps run 2 to three weeks depending on show with performances at the end of camp. The 2024 Summer Intensive Shows are Fining Nemo Jr. and Junie B. Jones.  The teen show is Pippin.

Offers a half day acting intensive for ages 8 – 17 years old, or full day simulated show camp for ages 8 – 17.
Camps explore acting techniques, what it’s like to be on a television show, improv, commercials, and lots more.

Weeklong camps with a wide range of themes for kids. Camp options are broken down by age or grade and include topics and themes like traditional day camp, various sports camps including football, volleyball and soccer, various arts and crafts camps like crochet and papaermache, STEM camps, automotive repair, cooking, theatre, math, babysitter training and so much more.

Summer at Providence offers a wide variety of both full-day and half-day camps for kids that cover a wide variety of themes. Kids can choose week-long camps like traditional summer play camps, soccer, football, technology, tennis, crafts, theater, and more. Summer at Providence is open to kids 4 through 18 years old.

Offers kids summer camps for rising first grade and up that explore filmmaking, cartooning, writing, and more themes.

Camp JuMP is open to kids 2nd through 9th grade who are interested in theatre training and performance opportunities in a Christian environment. Campers will learn a show during their week-long camo and perform it twice at the end of the week.

For ages 4 – 18, Camp Cannon offers a variety of sessions from arts and academics to sports! Come join us for a summer filled with fun!

There are lots of weekly summer camps to choose from at Covenant Day School. There are camps available with both full day and half day options for all ages. Topics include Art, soccer, basketball, volleyball, spots, College Admissions, sewing, theatre, band baking, science, and more.

Offers performance arts classes, music lessons, theatre, and camps for ages 3 – 18 years old.
Summer camps at Lanti Performing Arts explore music, musical theatre, Broadway, and so much more! Summer camps are half day or full day.

We offer weekly themed camps June through August at various locations – everything from Hamilton Camp to Barbie Camp and everything in between. Don’t wait to register!

Enjoy summer camps for ages 3 – 12, with full day camps for ages 5-10, with Disney themes.
Ages 8-12 can take part in Musical Theatre bootcamp.

The Davidson Community Players offers theatre for adults and kids.
Adult shows are typically for ages 12 and older on the Main Stage.
Children’s shows are held with the Connie Company and are generally for all ages.

The theatre also hosts children’s classes and workshops

Most summer camps are half day, but some full day options are available for older children/teens.

Offers professional theatre, workshops, and classes for children. The theatre has upcoming theatre productions for all ages, exploring various themes.
The theatre is located at ImaginON.

Summer camps at CT Charlotte are available for ages 3 and older and explore theatre themes like dance, creative play, acting, production, and more.
Full-day camps are available for ages K and up, and Half day camps for ages 3-5 years old.
Class and camp scholarships are available.
