Theatre Summer Camps: Charlotte, NC

We offer weekly themed camps June through August at various locations – everything from Hamilton Camp to Barbie Camp and everything in between. Don’t wait to register!

Acting Out Studio is an award-winning acting studio that offers birthday parties, acting classes, summer camps, and more. They have four locations in Charlotte. If you love singing, acting, and all things musical theatre, you can book a party with them. Parties cost $350, are two-hours long, and include 10 kids (all ages). Each additional child is $10 per child.

Charlotte Academy of Music offers music lessons, musical theatre classes, productions, and summer camps for kids and teens—building confidence, creativity, and character through high-quality arts education.

CAM offers high-quality music lessons for ages 1 – adult.

Summer camp 2026: Multiple camp themes available, some camps include:

• Ages 4–7
  Join Bluey, Mickey, and friends for a week of music, movement, drama, and crafts.
  Kids sing, dance, play, and create while building confidence and teamwork.

  9 AM–12 PM
• Ages 7 – 12
  Sing, act, and dance to songs and scenes from High School Musical in this summer camp. Final showcase included. No experience needed.

For ages 4 – 18, Camp Cannon offers a variety of sessions from arts and academics to sports! Come join us for a summer filled with fun!

Weeklong camps with a wide range of themes for kids. Camp options are broken down by age or grade and include topics and themes like traditional day camp, various sports camps including football, volleyball and soccer, various arts and crafts camps like crochet and papaermache, STEM camps, automotive repair, cooking, theatre, math, babysitter training and so much more.

Camp JuMP is open to kids 2nd through 9th grade who are interested in theatre training and performance opportunities in a Christian environment. Campers will learn a show during their week-long camo and perform it twice at the end of the week.

Offers professional theatre, workshops, and classes for children. The theatre has upcoming theatre productions for all ages, exploring various themes.
The theatre is located at ImaginON.

Summer camps at CT Charlotte are available for ages 3 and older and explore theatre themes like dance, creative play, acting, production, and more.
Full-day camps are available for ages K and up, and Half day camps for ages 3-5 years old.
Class and camp scholarships are available.

Although you can’t rent out the theatre, they do offer birthday party group pricing as follows:

• 10% off for 10-19 guests
• 15% off 20-49 guests
• 20% off for 50+ guests
• 10% deposit – pay in installments, due 2 weeks before the show

Covenant Day School Summer Camps offer weekly camps in Charlotte with full-day and half-day options for a variety of ages. Camp themes include Art, Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, College Admissions, Sewing, Theatre, Band, Baking, Science, and more.

Options: Full-day & half-day camps
Themes: Arts, Sports, Academic Enrichment, STEM, and Creative Programs
Ages: Grade 1 – Middle School

Offers a half day acting intensive for ages 8 – 17 years old, or full day simulated show camp for ages 8 – 17.
Camps explore acting techniques, what it’s like to be on a television show, improv, commercials, and lots more.

The Davidson Community Players offers theatre for adults and kids.
Adult shows are typically for ages 12 and older on the Main Stage.
Children’s shows are generally for all ages.

Summer Camps at Davidson Community Players- Lake Norman arts summer camps (Summer 2026) for ages 4–16 feature 2-week performance camps like Moana and Guys and Dolls, ending in live shows.

The 2026 themes for ages 3-5 are centered around popular themes like Disney Princess, Bluey, Wicked, and more. (9:30 am – 12 pm)

The 2026 themes for ages 6-9 include popular productions, including Disney on Broadway, Trolls, Wicked, and more. (9:30 – 3 pm)

Summer at Providence offers a wide variety of both full-day and half-day camps for kids that cover a wide variety of themes. Kids can choose week-long camps like traditional summer play camps, soccer, football, technology, tennis, crafts, theater, and more. Summer at Providence is open to kids 4 through 18 years old.

The Lotus Project Summer Intensive offers theatre camps
Ages: K through 8th grade
Time: 9 am – 3:45 pm
Teen summer intensive for kids in 7th grade through college sophomores.

Camps run 2 to three weeks, depending on the show, with performances at the end of camp.
