Sports Summer Camps: Charlotte, NC

They offer summer camps, a wide variety of classes, and more! Concord Parks & Rec Summer Playground camp offers summer camp for ages 6-12, divided into groups. Free lunch is served daily.

2025 camps will run for 6 weeks.

Summer at Providence offers a wide variety of both full-day and half-day camps for kids that cover a wide variety of themes. Kids can choose week-long camps like traditional summer play camps, soccer, football, technology, tennis, crafts, theater, and more. Summer at Providence is open to kids 4 through 18 years old.

Wildcat Summer Camp offers a wide variety of themed summer camps for kids in K through 8th grade. Camps are offered both half-day and full-day throughout the summer. Campers do not have to be students at the school.

They offer a wide variety of themed gymnastics classes for kids preschool age and up. Southeastern Gymnastics also offers team gymnastics and many different themed summer camps throughout the summer.

The Town of Indian Trail has a All Sports Camp where a variety of sports are taught.
Camps are half day. 4 camps are available.
Ages 6 – 13 meet at Chestnut Square Park, while ages 4-6 meet at Crooked Creek Park.

There are lots of weekly summer camps to choose from at Covenant Day School. There are camps available with both full day and half day options for all ages. Topics include Art, soccer, basketball, volleyball, spots, College Admissions, sewing, theatre, band baking, science, and more.

They offer classes for children starting at age 5 and have adult classes. Summer camps involve martial arts, parkour, tumbling, sports, gymnastics, games, and more.
June, July, and August camps are available.

Extreme Ice Center offers public ice skating, figure skating lessons, regular skating lessons, hockey lessons, birthday parties, summer camps, and more.

Summer Camps include several hockey camps for ages 5 and older. Camps range from beginner skater to advanced.

For ages 4 – 18, Camp Cannon offers a variety of sessions from arts and academics to sports! Come join us for a summer filled with fun!

Join Leadership Summer Camp with Mission Grit through a non-competitive camp environment.
Camps are for ages 7 and older and are full-day camps from June 9th – August 22nd, 2025.

Mission Grit also offers private birthday party packages that involve obstacle courses and team building.

This organization is a ministry of Calvary church and they offer a faith-based summer camp program. Kids can choose from several sports camp options and learn about Jesus during camp. This camp is for ages 5-15.

The PGA Camps Huntersville location is held annually at NorthStone Country Club.

Charlotte Eagles offers soccer summer camps for kids ages 5-14. They offer half-day and full-day summer camp options.

Offers youth sports teams in flag football, softball, cheerleading, basketball, baseball, volleyball, Nike Kids Camp, and multi sports for ages 3 and older.

Enjoy the great outdoors while playing and learning all at the same time. Camps run weekly June – August for ages 4 – 18.

Summer Camp: Camp Flip Flop Full day summer camps for 1st-6th grade, half day for preschool/kindergarten. Themed weeks of camp.

Classes: Rec classes include parent/child classes, tot classes, kinder classes, and tumbling. Pre-team and team classes and training is also offered.

Afterschool: Includes one gymnastics or tumbling class per week, plus homework time, snacks and more.

Mecklenburg County Parks and Rec offers adult and youth sports teams.

They also offer kids and teen summer camps! Summer camp registration begins each March, with dozens of options to choose from.

PGA Camps Matthews are held at The Divide Golf Club with Impact Performance Golf Learning.
Summer camps are half-day, with June and July options available.

Huntersville Parks and Rec offers summer camp for ages 3 and older. Themes include music recording arts (ages 12-17), volleyball camp, soccer camp, athletics camp, Mini Adventure Camp, Jr. Adventure Camp, and Adventure Camp.

Levine Jewish Community Center offers both summer specialty sports camps with activities like flag football, basketball and soccer, as well as tennis camps. Ages vary by camp but range from school age to teens.

Inner Peaks Climbing offers two climbing gym locations near Charlotte in Matthews, NC and South End. New through advanced climbers, including kids are welcome. You’ll find youth programs and adult programs, after-school sessions, school break camps, summer camps, birthday parties, and more!
