Town Day was originally started as a day of service and fellowship, and we will continue on with that tradition. Join us on the Town Green for activities, fellowship, and a time to support our local non-profits.

This year’s event will include family-friendly activities and educational opportunities such as:
- Town Table with information about Town initiatives including Pedestrian Safety Zones, Vision Zero, the newly adopted Climate Action Plan, Affordable Housing, Residential Knox Box program, and more!
- Parks and Recreation Master Plan
- Live Performances on the Davidson Library’s Stage.
- Kid-friendly activities.
- Information booths hosted by local organizations.
- Check out the Department of Parks & Recreation’s solar/electric E.L.F. vehicle!
In celebration of Bike Month, the Town will host the annual Lake Norman Bike Expo, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., in conjunction with Davidson’s Town Day event. We encourage you to learn more about area bike and electric-bike shops, nonprofit advocacy groups, the town’s Vision Zero efforts, the Town of Cornelius’ “Heads Up” safety campaign, and our local greenways. Bring your bike and join a guided 10-mile community ride at 10:30 a.m. or 2-mile family bike ride at 11:00 a.m.
