The minute we walked in, we could tell BJ’s was going to be a hit with our crew. The energy is lively but still comfortable for families. With TVs everywhere, it’s a dream for sports fans — especially during football season. The vibe is casual, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere makes it easy for families to relax and enjoy their meal.

What We Tried — And Loved: BJ’s Restaurant in Concord Mils
BJ’s has a massive menu, so everyone in our family found something they loved.
Here’s what ended up at our table (and disappeared pretty quickly!):
- Fried Couscous Mac & Cheese Balls – crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and totally addictive.
- Enlightened Seared Ahi Salad – light, flavorful, and a perfect option if you want something fresh.
- Bacon Guacamole Deluxe Burger – piled high and absolutely delicious.
- Strawberry Shortcake Pizookie – warm, sweet, and topped with melting vanilla ice cream.

Don’t Skip the Pizookie
BJ’s signature dessert, the Pizookie, truly lives up to the hype. A warm cookie baked right in its skillet and topped with ice cream — it’s the perfect ending to any meal. We split a couple at the table, but honestly, I’d order one just for myself next time.
Big Win: The Kids’ Menu
The kids’ menu at BJ’s is seriously impressive. My son ordered the boneless wings, and we all laughed when the plate arrived — it was huge! Perfect for hungry athletes or older kids who can put away a big meal. The mini Pizookie that followed was the perfect portion size and disappeared in record time.
For younger kids, there are plenty of favorites like mini corn dogs, chicken tenders, and pasta. The variety makes it easy to please everyone, even the picky eaters.
For the Adults: Brews
While the kids devoured their food, my husband ordered a beer flight, and we both appreciated that BJ’s brews many of their own beers in-house.
He tried a few before settling on a favorite — and yes, they happily offer free samples to help you decide.
