Come watch the Royal Academy of Irish Dance, also know as “The Queen City’s Irish Dance Studio”. They will be performing an Irish dance at the South County Regional Library in honor of Irish American Heritage Month and to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day.
Royal Academy of Irish Dance incorporates the traditional art form, and modern performance styles to teach Irish Dance education.

Kick-off the spring season with Green River Revival. Watch as the Whitewater Center’s resident leprechaun transforms the river green for St Patrick’s Day. Start the day with the Color Me Green 5K Trail Run before rafting down the river and listening to live music.

Drop in for a playful scavenger hunt designed by Lucky, our very own museum leprechaun. Visitors will follow his clever clues through each gallery, uncovering hidden surprises and completing fun challenges along the way.
$5 plus museum admission
FREE for museum members
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Kick off the spring with Green River Revival and visit Wildwoods for St. Patrick’s Day crafts, scavenger hunts, games and more on March 14 from 11:00am to 2:00 pm. Programming will take place throughout the entire duration of the event.
Cost: A Wildwoods Activity Pass is required.
Well leaping leprechauns, looks like St. Patrick’s Day is almost here again. Come celebrate with us with some fun themed crafts and games. Search through the museum to see if you can find a four-leaf clover, play with a lucky horseshoe, and follow the rainbow upstairs to the classroom to count the pot of gold before making your own to take home. It’s your lucky day to play at Main Street Children’s Museum
Join us at North County Regional Library to build your own LEGO creation! Learn mathematical concepts of sorting, building, and geometry while using LEGO building blocks. Families will be able to build at their own pace. This will be a self-directed event. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Must be between ages 5-12.

Charlotte’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade is back for 2026! Mark your calendars for March 14th at 11 am.

Home Depot Kids Workshops- Leprechaun Trap
Head to your local Home Depot Kids Workshop on Saturday, March 7th, 2026, from 9 am – 12 pm to build your own Leprechaun trap! Even though the monthly event is free, you must preregister for this event.
Get Ready for St. Patrick’s Day
Get ready for St. Patrick’s Day this year! We saw these fun St. Patrick’s Day shirts perfect for wearing to the Charlotte parade or any holiday events. They are a fundraiser for the Charlotte Regional Fire Foundation, and that is pretty cool.
