Patriotic music followed by fireworks at Symphony Park. This is a ticketed event, and tickets are on sale now. Purchase Charlotte Symphony Celebrate America tickets.

Kings Mountain Fireworks
July 4th, 2026- 6 pm to 10 pm
Kings Mountain claims they have the biggest fireworks show between Asheville and Charlotte. They’ll have fireworks at the Deal Park Walking Track. The event, starting at 6 pm, includes live music from Crystal Aria Band and food vendors, and a reenactment of the Battle of Kings Mountain. So you’ll get fireworks and a great history lesson all at one event.

North Carolina offers a free fishing day on all NC public waters on July 4th. Typically, a license is not required to fish on this day, but check with your local lake to be sure. Lake Norman is a great option, because you can enjoy a celebration after a day of fishing.
