June 29, 2024
Enjoy a small-town parade to celebrate our nation’s independence. The parade should include about 150 different units including music, floats, marching bands, military vehicles, re-enactment groups and lots more! The parade starts at 11 am.

Charlotte Symphony Orchestra at Village Park
June 29th, 2024
This Kannapolis celebration at Village Park is totally free and includes the CSO concert followed by fireworks. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on.

Charlotte Symphony: Celebrate America
June 30th, 2024, 8:15 pm
Patriotic music followed by fireworks at Symphony Park. This is a ticketed event, and tickets are on sale now. Purchase Charlotte Symphony Celebrate America tickets.
Tickets are free for kids 12 and under, $5-$7 for teens, and $18-$25 for adults. Purchase in advance for the best price.

Guests at Carowinds will enjoy a fireworks show with a patriotic soundtrack. The best viewing spots should be the Carolina Boardwalk, County Fair, and Celebration Plaza-areas.

Town of Matthews Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks Spectacular
July 3rd and 4th, 2024
July 3rd: Fireworks launch at 9:30 pm from the Matthews SportsPlex. Enter via Brigman Road and view the fireworks from your vehicle’s parking space.
July 4th: Stumptown Park in Matthews, NC from 5 pm to 9 pm: enjoy food trucks, kids’ activities, and live music. Zac Brown Tribute Band plays from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Kings Mountain claims they have the biggest fireworks show between Asheville and Charlotte. They’ll have fireworks at the Deal Park Walking Track.

NO FIREWORKS. This event includes a small town stroll (parade) and a concert on the green.

In Downtown Gastonia there will be food trucks and free amusements for kids, a beer garden, vendors, and live entertainment. Fireworks happen at 9:30 pm.
