Art Summer Camps: Charlotte, NC

Wildcat Summer Camp offers a wide variety of themed summer camps for kids in K through 8th grade. Camps are offered both half-day and full-day throughout the summer. Campers do not have to be students at the school.

YMCA of Greater Charlotte and the Ballantyne Arts Center offers classes in dance, theatre, visual arts, sports, and summer day camp.

Summer day camp is offered in a variety of themes, including sports camps in Basketball or All Sports, Aquanaut, cheer camp, cooking camp, baseball/tball, basketball, bowling, dance camp, Art Experience Camp, and a variety of additional camps for every kid.

Summer at Providence offers a wide variety of both full-day and half-day camps for kids that cover a wide variety of themes. Kids can choose week-long camps like traditional summer play camps, soccer, football, technology, tennis, crafts, theater, and more. Summer at Providence is open to kids 4 through 18 years old.

Kids will learn about mixed media arts and pottery, depending on the camp chosen.

Hands Create offers fine art summer camps for children ages TK-8th grade.
Weekly summer camps run from June through August 9th, with various themes and age groups per camp.

Noah’s Art has three locations across Charlotte. They offer art classes, birthday parties, a mobile studio, summer camps, and more. They offer parties in-studio and mobile parties. You can contact them on their website to book your party and learn more about pricing.

Fort Mill Summer Camp

There are lots of weekly summer camps to choose from at Covenant Day School. There are camps available with both full day and half day options for all ages. Topics include Art, soccer, basketball, volleyball, spots, College Admissions, sewing, theatre, band baking, science, and more.

Youth Summer Art Camp: Morning, Afternoon, and 1 Day camps happening throughout the summer with a huge variety of crafts and projects to select from. Ages 7-14

Weeklong camps with a wide range of themes for kids. Camp options are broken down by age or grade and include topics and themes like traditional day camp, various sports camps including football, volleyball and soccer, various arts and crafts camps like crochet and papaermache, STEM camps, automotive repair, cooking, theatre, math, babysitter training and so much more.

Arts + offers educational instruction in music, visual arts, and community outreach. They also offer birthday party packages and kids/youth/teen camps.
Summer camps at Arts + include camps in music and visual arts. Camps are week long, with camps for PreK and up.
Full day camps are available for older kids. Talent-based scholarships may be available for certain programs.

Week-long summer camps with themes like “Food Art & Storytelling,” “Super Mario Art & PE” and “Inventors Camp.” Camps are divided by age and welcome kids ages 2-12. Day options and week options, 8:30 am to 1 pm.

A variety of summer camp for rising 1st grade through 8th grade. Topics that may be explored include STEM, space, theatre, and more. Niner Academy is for high school students and explores a variety of accelerated programs.

The Town of Pineville offers Camp Pineville for rising 1st graders – 12 years old with activities like sports, arts and crafts, games, and field trips
2024 Summer camp runs from June 17 – August 9.
Camp runs from 7:30 am – 2:30 pm, with late stay available for an additional fee.
