DESCRIPTION:Event Activities\nEvery year\, the Town of Davidson celebrates 
 Independence Day by inviting community members to join us in a Patriotic S
 troll. In honor of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independen
 ce\, this year will include special musical performances\, festivities\, a
 nd more! \n\nPatriotic Stroll\nAll participants are encouraged to dress i
 n festive attire and to decorate their wagons\, bicycles\, strollers\, and
  pets in red\, white\, and blue. A color guard comprised of members of the
  Davidson Police and Fire departments will lead the community up South Str
 eet onto Main Street to the Town Green.\nFireworks \nThere are no firewor
 ks in Davidson. The Davidson Police Department reminds residents to remem
 ber the safety of themselves and that of their neighbors. Per the North Ca
 rolina General Statute\, fireworks are strictly prohibited for personal u
 se.
