 tion of Independence\, visit Historic Brattonsville to venture back to the
  18th century Carolina Piedmont. Along with domestic and trade skills from
  the period\, historic interpreters will also lead tours and demonstration
 s of the military actions in the Backcountry of South Carolina.\n\nTimed A

 d tours: Join a historic interpreter as they lead a tour of the battlefiel
 d of Williamson’s Plantation (Huck’s Defeat)\, which was fought on the
  property now part of Historic Brattonsville. Hear about the events leadin
 g up to the battle\, the various characters involved\, and discover how th
 is brief battle began\, stemming the tide of the British advance during th
