DESCRIPTION:In honor of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution\, 
 visit Historic Brattonsville to venture back to the 18th century Carolina 
 Piedmont. Along with domestic and trade skills from the period\, historic 
 interpreters will also lead tours and demonstrations of the military actio
 ns in the Backcountry of South Carolina.\n\nTimed Activities\n• Animal F
 eeding (10:30 a.m.)\n• Huck’s Defeat battlefield tours: Join a histori
 c interpreter as they lead a tour of the battlefield of Williamson’s Pla
 ntation (Huck’s Defeat)\, which was fought on the property now part of H
 istoric Brattonsville. Hear about the events leading up to the battle\, th
 e various characters involved\, and discover how this brief battle began\,
  stemming the tide of the British advance during the Southern Campaign. (1
